Etsy Profit Calculator – See Your Real Net Profit
Etsy Profit Calculator — See Your Real Take-Home Pay
Enter your price and costs to see exactly what Etsy takes — listing fee, transaction fee, payment processing, regulatory fees, and ads — and what you actually keep.
Your Profit Breakdown
Estimates are based on Etsy’s published fee schedule (listing, transaction, payment processing and regulatory operating fees) as of 2026, shown in your selected country’s currency. The $0.20 listing fee is always billed by Etsy in USD and converted to your local currency at the time of charge, so that one line may differ slightly from your actual statement. VAT and any subscription (Etsy Plus/Pattern) fees are not included here.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Etsy actually take from a sale?+
On a typical US sale, Etsy takes roughly 10–12% once you combine the $0.20 listing fee, 6.5% transaction fee, and 3% + $0.25 payment processing fee. If the sale came through Offsite Ads, add another 12–15% on top — which is why many sellers are surprised by how much smaller their payout is than their listed price.
Is this calculator accurate for digital products?+
Yes. Digital downloads on Etsy pay the exact same listing, transaction, and payment processing fees as physical items — there’s no discount for digital. The only difference is you won’t have shipping costs, so switch to “Digital Product” mode to hide those fields and add your production cost instead.
What is the Etsy Offsite Ads fee, and do I have to pay it?+
Offsite Ads promotes your listings on Google, Facebook, and Instagram. Etsy only charges you if a sale is attributed to that ad — 15% of the order if your shop made under $10,000 in the past year (you can opt out), or 12% if you made more (mandatory, no opt-out). It’s always capped at $100 per order.
Does this calculator account for taxes?+
No — sales tax, VAT, and income tax vary too much by location to estimate accurately here. This tool covers Etsy’s own seller fees only. Check with a local accountant for tax obligations specific to your country.
Why is my payment processing fee different from another seller’s?+
Etsy Payments processing fees are set by the country your bank account is registered in, not where your buyer is. That’s why a US seller pays 3% + $0.25 while a Pakistan-based seller pays 6.5% + $0.30 on the exact same sale.
Is this tool free to use?+
Completely free, unlimited use, no account or email required.
